Exciting Opportunity: Assistant Planner at UK Power Networks
Are you passionate about project controls, planning, and data management within the engineering, construction, and utilities sectors? Join our dynamic team at UK Power Networks as an Assistant Planner based in either our London or our Maidstone offices.
What You\’ll Do:
- Manage and maintain lower value projects under the guidance of planners/lead planners.
- Support the delivery team by recording progress, costs, and forecasting milestones.
- Learn and improve your capabilities in Primavera P6 to manage major projects.
- Provide accurate programme data to meet project control requirements and support Earned Value Management reporting.
- Undertake a Level 3 Project Controls Apprenticeship to cement and advance your knowledge.
What We\’re Looking For:
- GCSE Maths and English grade 5 or higher (or equivalent).
- Foundation level qualification in project management/control (such as APM or Prince2) is desirable.
- Knowledge of work scheduling for construction projects; experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar packages is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with multiple team members.
