As a permanent member of our staff, you will benefit from a competitive salary of £39,283 with a 3% bonus.
In this engaging role, you will report to the Lead Design Engineer, collaborating closely with designers to assess customer requirements, analyse points of connection, prepare quotations, and deliver exceptional advice and support throughout the connection process. You will provide clear, accurate information to customers and colleagues, tackling technical queries and working to tight deadlines on project re-quotes and revalidations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing costs against budgets
- Supporting more complex projects as needed
- Monitoring data entry into SAP and other company systems
- Maintaining compliance with regulatory standards
- Minimising complaints
- Achieving financial, safety, and quality targets
All the while, you will develop your knowledge of network records, LV network procedures, and current standards, gaining invaluable experience in electricity network design and pricing.
To succeed, you will need a City & Guilds 232 in Electrical Engineering, be familiar with Connections business processes, have an understanding of standards and licence conditions, and be comfortable using Microsoft packages, SAP, and Netmap (Navigator experience is a plus).
