We’re looking for ambitious individuals who are eager to contribute to a team shaping the future of electricity connections.
In this role, you will report to the Lead Design Engineer and work closely with a talented Connections team. Your primary responsibilities will be producing designs, quotations, and work packs for new and altered electricity connections for customers within our Licence area. You will directly liaise with customers to understand their requirements, develop customised connection solutions, and ensure your designs meet stringent Licence Conditions, Guaranteed Standards, and Safety Standards.
Time management and efficiency are essential, as every project is customer-driven, demanding strong organisational skills and the ability to plan and manage resources effectively. Throughout, you’ll need to uphold a strong focus on customer service, balancing the need for safety and security of supply while meeting customer expectations.
We seek candidates who demonstrate an in-depth understanding of how electricity distribution networks are designed and operated. You should have the drive to deliver excellent customer service, show initiative while working collaboratively as a team player, and be willing to take ownership of your work by contributing to targets and supporting team success.
