We are looking for a Cyber Security Architect with experience protecting data, networks and systems that support critical infrastructure. We need someone with strong knowledge of secure cloud and on-premise operational technology environments. You should be able to develop cyber security systems, policies, standards, best practice and guidance. You must be able to communicate technical cyber security concepts clearly to colleagues at all levels. You should have experience establishing effective relationships with internal and external technology teams, suppliers and partners. You should be comfortable working collaboratively with cyber security architecture resources, third-party service providers, specialist technical consultants and cyber security tooling vendors. You must be able to apply sound enterprise architecture practices. You should have experience contributing to cloud security and network architecture. You should be able to review and approve solution proposals and create target and transition architectures. You should understand secure-by-design and secure coding practices. You must be able to define strategies that improve the security of cloud solutions and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities include protecting the data, networks and systems that support critical electricity infrastructure, shaping secure cloud and on-premise operational technology environments, developing cyber security systems, policies, standards, best practice and guidance to protect our data, networks and systems from cyber threats while remaining compliant with relevant standards and regulations. You will implement cyber security plans and technology roadmaps using sound enterprise architecture practices to support our Cyber Security Strategy and align with our vision, values and strategic goals. You will develop the security architecture framework, including policies, standards, procedures, guidelines and blueprints. You will enable security solutions and capabilities across projects and operations in response to business, technology and threat drivers. You will participate in the Architecture Review Board as the design authority for cyber security matters, review and approve solution proposals, and create target and transition architectures that conform to best practice. You will ensure alignment with our Information Security policies and underpinning standards, contribute to cloud security and network architecture policies, translate requirements into technical solutions, and communicate designs with product teams. You will develop cloud security measurement tooling to manage cloud performance, resources and cost and make recommendations for improvement. You will work with multiple DevOps teams to assess existing cloud security architectures, advocate secure-by-design and secure coding practices, and define strategies that improve the security of solutions and CI/CD pipelines in the cloud. You will maintain key relationships on cyber security matters and support business confidence in cyber security and network architecture improvements.
