This includes liaison with customers, network operations and control management of contractors as required.
This will involve working with the full-time dedicated customer champions within the team.\\n\\nDuties:\\n\\nLocation of faults on the Distribution network\\n\\nThe restoration of LV supplies in agreement with LV control\\n\\nTesting and switching on the LV network -and understanding the results of the tests and acting appropriately\\n\\nRepairs to public lighting services\\n\\nAny other relevant jointing duties\\n\\nSupervision of excavating teams\\n\\nUnderstanding and providing updates for operational and 1:500 diagrams,\\n\\nLV and HV jointing\\n\\nUse of appropriate IT equipment including TDR, LV Faults sniffer and FFE equipment\\n\\nImmediate supervision of Craft Attendant.\\n\\nLB inspections and carrying out of network sweeps as required Nature and Scope\\n\\nyou will play an important role in the safe restoration of LV supplies. We are regulated by various guidelines, and it will ensure successful compliance with Customer Minutes Lost and Customer Interruption targets. You may be required to work at any location\\n\\nQualifications:\\n\\nCity and Guilds 2339 (formally 2322) certificate or equivalent\\n\\nHAUC (NRSWA) qualification as a supervisor and operative\\n\\nFlexibility and able to work in a team environment\\n\\nAbility to problem solve in a practical way\\n\\nAble to work under pressure\\n\\nMust have a clean driving licence\\n\\nUnderstanding operational and 1:500 diagrams\\n\\nStrong safety focus required\\n\\nMust be customer focused\\n\\nPrincipal Accountabilities:\\n\\nThe position, working as part of the wider team will be responsible for the restoration of LV supplies on the UK Power Networks LV distribution system, carrying out jointing repairs on the HV and LV cable networks.\\n\\nAny training required will be provided to you
