This is a permanent role reporting to the Site Supervisor, offering a salary of £48,465 plus a 3% bonus. Day to day you'll use appropriate hand-held IT equipment, carry out routine emergency lighting checks and remedial works, complete additional site visits to meet ESQC Regulations requirements, undertake substation small wiring (including SCADA and back indication), and complete HV and LV meter reading.

You will provide immediate supervision of Maintenance/Project/Sub-Contract staff within your working party, assist the team with other maintenance and project-based work, and be prepared to support other sections when required (for example organisational changes or system emergencies) as determined by your skills, knowledge and experience.

You will ensure all staff you are responsible for work to the Distribution Safety Rules and you will demonstrate and promote a strong safety culture.
