The predicted salary is between 41000 - 41000 £ per year.
This EHV Maintenance Fitter will report to the EHV Senior Project Manager and will work within Network Operations based in our Bidder Street, Canning Town office. You will be a permanent employee in our UK Power Networks team.
You will attract a salary of £41,109 and a bonus of 3%. If you are successful, you will need to undertake a medical and DBS reference check.

Nature and Scope:
You will be part of a team that is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of EHV Maintenance of electrical plant and equipment from the low voltage network up to and including (phone number removed) volt network in London area being a part of a team of Fitters.
Key Competencies:
- Have a City & Guilds 2349 (formally 232) certificate in Electrical Power Distribution
- Hold a current driving licence
- Be able to operate hand held IT equipment to receive job instructions and record asset data information
Principal Accountabilities:
You will be expected to work as part of a team that liaises closely with Field Engineers to ensure maintenance works are completed to a high standard in a timely and cost-effective manner and be prepared to work with colleagues from EHV Cables/Protection in London Region. Ensure that a high standard of safety management prevails throughout all areas of responsibility and that a good safety performance is maintained. Ensuring that Company procedures are followed and deliver work to the required standards. Establishing a process of continuous improvement through Individual Performance Review and utilisation of new technology.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
You will have both a high degree of experience in field engineering and be able to demonstrate a high level of initiative and commitment towards meeting maintenance targets. A detailed understanding of Primary plant and switchgear is essential and experience in maintenance, defect diagnosis and repair. You will be someone who works to the highest of standards in all areas including professional conduct carrying with it a high level of self-motivation. The role requires good communication skills and the ability to liaise with other parts of Networks to resolve problems and develop and/or implement new initiatives.
