Key Responsibilities
- Design and specify low-carbon heating systems (e.g., heat pumps, underfloor heating, ventilation)
- Create 2D CAD drawings and technical documentation
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver bespoke solutions
- Prepare technical quotations to a high standard
- Ensure compliance with UK regulations (Building Regs, MCS)
- Provide technical support to customers and sales colleagues
- Identify components and innovative solutions with suppliers
Skills & Experience
You may have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Experience in mechanical, plumbing or heating system design
- Background in the renewables sector
- CAD design experience
- Familiarity with heat pump systems, hydraulic design, or BPEC Level 3
- Knowledge of Building Regulations (Part L, F, O), MCS standards (MIS3005)
- HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical/Heating Engineering
You’ll also bring:
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Competent in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong team player with initiative and adaptability
