We are the UK's largest independent network of plumbing and heating merchants, with over 310 locations and over 2500 staff. Our Commercial Development Programme is a graduate sales training scheme that combines real work with structured learning, preparing you for roles such as a Business Unit Manager, Showroom Manager or Sales Manager.
What You'll Be Doing
- Hands-on product learning - start in the warehouse to handle stock, learn its features, and understand how it solves customer problems.
- Customer-facing sales work - serve customers at the trade counter and by phone, developing your communication and selling skills.
- Cross-team shadowing - experience different functions, from the Commercial Team to the Service Centre, to see the full business picture.
- Account management - once you're delivering consistent results, take ownership of your own accounts and grow your portfolio.
- Off-site sales training - gain professional, industry-recognised skills through structured courses alongside your in-site experience.
- Events & networking - attend supplier trade days, customer breakfasts, and industry events.
You’ll be supported throughout by experienced managers, structured coaching, and our Profit Share scheme, so the success you create comes straight back to you.
