About the Role
We are recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our RAPID team. This role involves providing high-quality, responsive support to adults and children with complex needs in our clients' homes, community calls and supported living. Covering all services within UK Phoenix Healthcare. You will be part of a fast-paced service where flexibility, confidence, and strong decision-making skills are essential.
Essential Experience
- Working with clients with challenging behaviours
- CPI training (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
- Moving and handling
- Supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism
- Experience with supported living clients
- Mental health support experience
- Minimum of 2 years in Complex care is preferred
About You
- Confident and calm when handling challenging situations
- Skilled in de-escalation and behaviour management
- Reliable, adaptable, and professional
- Able to work quickly within a rapid-response rota
- Compassionate and committed to high standards of care
Requirements
- Must be a driver with access to own car (no walkers or non-drivers)
- Must be able to travel across Staffordshire and surrounding areas within a 100 mile radius, mileage will be paid at 32p per mile
- Non-smokers preferred
- Fluent in English
