Mental Health Support Worker

Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and experienced Female Mental Health support workers with extensive challenging behaviour and self harm experience to join our team in providing exceptional care to a young girl on outings and social activities . The role involves assisting with daily activities and outings. Hours of Work 2 block 4 hour calls a week Responsibilities – Support patients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and feeding – Assisting with clinical tasks as designated in the care plan – Assist in the implementation of care plans tailored to individual patient needs – Monitor and report changes in patient health status to the healthcare team – Help patients with mobility, ensuring manual handling training is followed – Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient activities and progress -Working as part of a dedicated client care team Skills – Experience in Mental Health – Experience in challenging Behaviour – Self harm and suicide awareness training essential – Breakaway knowledge – Proficiency in IT systems for record-keeping purposes – Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals – Ability to drive is advantageous due to shift times – Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans for patients what we offer * Full comprehensive training – 5 day induction and then further training delivered by our RN in clinical tasks * competitive salary * the chance to work with a nation wide company * wrap around support – 24 hours a day * progression * extra annual leave – have your birthday off every year! * Qualifications – all staff are required to work towards there level 2/3 * company team building events Job Types: Part-time Pay: £12.50 – £14 Benefits: * Company events * Referral programme Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Night shift * Weekend availability Application question(s): * Do you have experience in behaviours that challenge? * Do you have experience and training in break away?
