We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated HCA Supported Living professional to join our ever‑growing team. This role is vital in ensuring that the individuals we support can live as independently as possible while receiving the necessary care and guidance. As an HCA in Supported Living, you will be engaged in a rewarding environment, working directly with clients to help them achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life. Your daily activities will involve not just personal care, but also enhancing social interactions and facilitating community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to individuals in supported living environments.
- Assist clients with daily activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication management.
- Support individuals in developing skills for independent living and community participation.
- Monitor and document clients' progress and care needs regularly.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Ensure a safe and clean living environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in a healthcare setting.
- A valid DBS check and relevant healthcare qualifications are advantageous.
