Job Description: Mental Health Support Worker – Drivers Wanted (Full Time)
Location: Supported Living, CB1 – CB8 postcodes
Pay Rate: £14.00 – £15.50 per hour (package and experience dependent)
UK Phoenix Healthcare is recruiting reliable, outgoing, and dedicated Mental Health Support Workers. Drivers are essential; and access to own vehicle. Travel between locations covering CB1–CB8 is required, with service user matches based on location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting clients with budgeting and financial management
- Arranging daily activities and encouraging participation
- Building professional, trusting relationships with clients
- Supporting behaviours that challenge in 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1+ ratios
- Providing personal care as needed
- Utilising communication aids (experience advantageous)
- Ensuring compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Mental Capacity Act (MCA) standards
- Keeping thorough records and working to high documentation standards
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving licence with business insurance and access to own vehicle
- Right to work in the UK
Preferred Experience:
- MAPA/CPI and/or PBS training and experience desirable
- Previous experience managing physical behaviours that challenge
- Experience and understanding in using communication aids
- Strong reporting, documentation, and communication skills
