Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals in supported living environments
  • Assist clients with daily activities, meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication management
  • Support individuals in developing skills for independent living and community participation
  • Monitor and document clients' progress and care needs regularly
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Engage clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life
  • Ensure a safe and clean living environment for all clients
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations in a healthcare setting
  • A valid DBS check and relevant healthcare qualifications are advantageous
