Mental Health Support Worker - Drivers Wanted (Full Time)
No sponsorship licences available, must have right to work in UK.
Location: Supported Living, CB1 - CB8 postcodes.
Pay Rate: £14.00 - £15.50 per hour (package and experience dependent).
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting clients with budgeting and financial management.
- Arranging daily activities and encouraging participation.
- Building professional, trusting relationships with clients.
- Supporting behaviours that challenge in 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1+ ratios.
- Providing personal care as needed.
- Utilising communication aids (experience advantageous).
- Ensuring compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Mental Capacity Act (MCA) standards.
- Keeping thorough records and working to high documentation standards.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving licence with business insurance and access to own vehicle.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Preferred Experience: MAPA/CPI and/or PBS training and experience desirable.
- Previous experience managing physical behaviours that challenge.
- Experience and understanding in using communication aids.
- Strong reporting, documentation, and communication skills.
