Position Responsibilities:
- Interpret designs and code (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, Velocity), to create engaging, modern (UX) web experiences through the university’s content management system (CMS).
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical requirements or UX design.
- Build web applications with web development best practices.
- Work with back-end programmers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases.
- Debug errors, troubleshoot issues and perform routine performance optimizations.
- Diagnose and resolve problems in markup and style.
- Write high-quality, scalable and reusable code.
- Report on emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Support a diverse population, with varying skill levels, in the maintenance of web content in the University’s CMS.
- Follow project management methodology.
