UK Music is the collective voice of the UK’s world-leading music industry. We bring together all sectors of the industry to collaborate, campaign, and champion music. After six years, our current Chair, Lord (Tom) Watson, will step down in early 2026, and we are therefore seeking a new Chair to lead the organisation into its next chapter. The Chair will work closely with Chief Executive Tom Kiehl and our Board of Directors , to ensure the voice of the UK music industry is heard across central, devolved, and local governments and Parliaments. We’re looking for someone who ideally will have a combination of: Deep knowledge of the UK music and creative sectors. An understanding of the political landscape and stakeholder engagement. Passion for the cultural and economic value of the music industry in the UK. We recognise that candidates may not meet all requirements listed above, please note it is not essential to meet all at this stage. UK Music and Eton Bridge Partners are committed to diversity and inclusion and welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds. We are particularly keen to hear from those currently under-represented in the sector.
