Responsibilities
- Transport goods safely, including loading/unloading and ensuring secure packaging to prevent damage.
- Maintain vehicle: perform regular maintenance checks, schedule repairs, keep vehicle clean and in good working condition.
- Ensure compliance with traffic and transportation laws and specific regulations for special types of goods such as perishables or hazardous materials.
- Communicate clearly with purchasing and warehouse departments to confirm delivery schedules, notify of delays, and resolve discrepancies.
- Secure vehicle and cargo, monitor loading/unloading processes, safeguard stock from theft or damage.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with suppliers or recipients, addressing concerns and representing the company positively.
- Perform any other tasks or responsibilities as requested by management within the scope of the position.
Qualifications
