We are looking for a proactive and experienced Property & Facilities Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations across our properties, ensuring high standards, efficiency, and exceptional service delivery.
As a Property & Facilities Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day maintenance activities across the estate, managing both in-house and subcontracted teams. You will play a key role in ensuring planned and reactive maintenance is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard while supporting operational continuity across all properties.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and allocate tasks to the in-house maintenance team, ensuring timely and satisfactory completion of work.
- Coordinate with subcontracted maintenance teams to schedule and plan maintenance across all properties, adhering to a yearly maintenance schedule.
- Liaise with various departments to arrange and oversee maintenance activities within properties.
- Keep the Maintenance & Installations Manager informed about ongoing work.
- Serve as the primary contact for day-to-day inquiries and issues related to equipment, materials, methods, and procedures.
- Approve and place orders for parts, equipment, and contractor services as needed.
- Maintain an inventory of replacement parts and ensure back-up supplies are available.
- Respond to emergencies and unusual situations, providing support beyond typical trade responsibilities.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, with a focus on health and safety.
- Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
- Provide coverage for colleagues during absences and be available on call/standby as required.
- Any tasks or responsibilities as requested by management within the scope of the position.
- Work alongside property administrator.
We are seeking an experienced and organised professional with:
- Extensive experience and knowledge in building maintenance.
- Familiarity with building codes, rules, and regulations.
- Ability to produce clear and concise reports, plans, and operational procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proven supervisory experience and strong planning and organisational skills.
- Good working knowledge and experience of M&E services essential.
