Key Responsibilities:
- Load and Unload Materials: Assist in loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles. Ensure that items are handled safely and placed correctly.
- Support Housekeeping staff by lifting and moving furniture.
- Pick up and drop off staff as and when required.
- Stock Organisation: Ensure that items are stored in their designated locations to facilitate easy access and efficient logistics.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is clean and in good working condition.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures. Participate in safety drills and trainings to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Cleanliness and Housekeeping: Support the Housekeepers by cleaning areas inside and outside as and when necessary. Keep your work area clean and organised. Remove debris and spillages in a timely manner to prevent accidents.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Any tasks or responsibilities as requested by management within the scope of the position.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Possession of a full, clean UK driving licence.
- Experience with inventory systems, invoices, and purchase orders is beneficial.
- Food hygiene and health and safety certifications are desirable.
- IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, are advantageous.
- Flexibility to work varied and rotating schedules.
