Join our dedicated team as a Groom - Seasonal and play an essential role in the care and maintenance of our horses. You will ensure the well-being of the horses and support client riding activities to provide a safe and enjoyable experience.
As a Groom - Seasonal, you will be responsible for daily stable duties, including grooming, feeding, mucking out, and maintaining the horse's health. You will assist with riding activities, exercise horses, and ensure all equipment is safe and in good condition.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily stable and field duties, including feeding, grooming, and handling horses.
- Muck out stables to a high standard.
- Report any ailments, infections, or injuries to the Head Groom.
- Exercise horses through lunging, hacking, schooling, or track cantering.
- Maintain equipment and ensure riding arenas are tidy.
- Assist in client activity preparation and safely transport horses as required.
- Has experience working as a Groom and in horse care.
- Can ride to BHS Stage 2 standard.
- Holds a clean driving licence.
- Has experience working with children.
- Has an equine qualification (desirable).
