As a Medical Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing Arabic language interpretation during medical appointments, ensuring that both patients and healthcare providers understand each other fully. You will maintain confidentiality and support patients by facilitating clear communication with their medical providers.
Key Responsibilities- Accompany clients to specialist medical appointments and provide verbal and written interpretation as needed.
- Stay with clients throughout their appointments and attend follow-up sessions when required.
- Relay all relevant information regarding the patient's case back to the Medical Department.
- Communicate any necessary follow-up appointments to clients.
- Ensure strict confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Undertake any tasks as requested by management within the scope of the position.
- Fluent in both traditional Arabic and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experienced as a Medical Interpreter with a demonstrated history in a similar role.
- Possessing a degree or qualification in Interpreting Services (desirable).
- Proficient in MS Office and database management.
