The Role
As a Painter Decorator, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality interior and exterior decorating works across a range of properties. You will play a key role in maintaining the aesthetic standards of our estates, ensuring all finishes meet a premium level.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out interior and exterior painting and decorating across multiple properties
- Prepare surfaces including filling, sanding, priming, and ensuring high-quality finishes
- Hang and line wallpaper, calculating required materials accurately
- Paint walls, ceilings, woodwork, doors, windowsills, and skirting boards
- Carry out specialist finishes such as varnishing or French polishing where required
- Support other trades to ensure a seamless and high-standard finish across projects
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including COSHH and working at height
- Participate in seasonal shifts and on-call rota when required
- Complete additional tasks as requested within the scope of the role
