Join a dynamic and professional team responsible for maintaining and enhancing a high-end property portfolio. We are seeking an experienced Property Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations, ensuring all work is delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
The Role
As a Property Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day maintenance activities across multiple properties, leading a team of in-house engineers and coordinating with contractors. You will play a key role in ensuring planned and reactive maintenance is delivered effectively while maintaining exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and allocate tasks to the maintenance team, ensuring timely completion
- Coordinate with subcontractors to plan and deliver maintenance schedules across all properties
- Liaise with internal departments to organise maintenance works
- Keep the Maintenance & Installations Manager updated on progress and issues
- Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day maintenance queries
- Approve and manage orders for parts, equipment, and contractor services
- Maintain stock levels of parts and ensure availability of backup supplies
- Carry out and oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
- Respond to emergencies and provide hands-on support when required
- Ensure full compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations
- Provide team cover during absences and participate in on-call/standby rota
- Complete any additional duties within the scope of the role
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in building/property maintenance
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
- Strong knowledge of building regulations, compliance, and maintenance best practices
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to produce clear reports and maintenance plans
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
- A full, clean UK driving licence
