We’re recruiting for Delivery Managers to join our dynamic teams within Defence Digital. These roles are central to the successful delivery of digital products, services, and transformation projects across Defence. You’ll thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, leading teams, managing timelines, removing obstacles, and ensuring delivery aligns with strategic objectives. You’ll also oversee requirements management, and proactively handle risks and issues to keep progress on track.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing the delivery of products and services that add value through different phases of the life cycle, proactively managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Shaping delivery strategies, identifying appropriate frameworks, and working with leading Defence suppliers to deliver future capabilities.
- Actively contributes to the removal of delivery obstacles, and is adept at formulating plans to overcome difficult or unforeseen challenges.
- Leading high-performing delivery teams, with added value in championing Agile principles and methodologies.
- Balancing cost and time against value for the taxpayer, while keeping user needs at the forefront.
- Driving continuous improvement and focusing teams on high-impact priorities.
What We’re Looking For – Key Skills and Capabilities
- We’re seeking individuals with a strong track record in delivery management, along with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Commercial and Financial Operations, including:
- Management of Managed Service Contracts.
- Oversight of Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
- Developing accurate budget plans aligned with strategic objectives, including estimating costs, identifying funding requirements, and preparing financial forecasts.
