We are looking for Theatre / Scrub Nurses to start a career at one of the NHS Trusts in the UK.

Start date: No later than April 30th

Location: North Midlands.

Requirements

  • Education
  • 10 years of schooling before entering the Nursing programme
  • Degree in Nursing (BS, MS, PhD)
  • Professional registration in the country of practice
  • English Language
  • IELTS (minimum score of 7.0 in listening, speaking, reading and 6.5 in writing)
  • OET (minimum score of B in listening, speaking, reading and C+ in writing)
  • Work Experience
    • At least 6+ months in Theatre / Scrub nursing.
  • NMC Registration
    • Part 1: CBT (done online before nurses come to the UK)
    • Part 2: OSCE (nurses will sit this exam in the UK within 6 months from the employment start date)

    Expenses

    • Covered by the Trust
    • OSCE, NMC registration, Visa costs, Travel expenses, Accommodation (up to 3 months)
  • Covered by the Nurse
    • IELTS/OET (£155), CBT (£83), NMC Application (£140), NMC Registration (£153)

    Salary Scale

    • Before completing the NMC registration: £21,800 (Band 4).
    • Once candidate completes the NMC registration: £25,900 (Band 5) - £31,360 (Band 6).
    • Successful candidates will be employed as Band 3 and will have a pay rise opportunity (Band 5) after they pass the OSCE exam which could be as soon as 3 months.
