Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care to neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patients.
Requirements:
- 10 years of schooling before entering the Nursing programme.
- Degree in Nursing (BSc, MSc, PhD).
- Professional registration in the country of practice.
- English Language Proficiency: Intermediate level with intent to take IELTS or OET test.
- IELTS: minimum 7.0 (listening, speaking, reading) and 6.5 (writing).
- OET: minimum B (listening, speaking, reading) and C+ (writing).
- Minimum 6+ months in NICU nursing.
Regulatory Requirements:
- Complete NMC registration: Part 1 (CBT, online) and Part 2 (OSCE within 6 months).
- Success expected to be employed under the NMC registration.
Expenses Covered by the Trust:
- OSCE, NMC registration, Visa costs, Travel expenses, Accommodation (up to 3 months).
Expenses Covered by the Nurse:
- IELTS/OET (£155).
- CBT (£83).
- NMC Application (£140).
- NMC Registration (£153).
Salary Scale:
- Pre-NMC registration: £21,800 (Band 4).
- Post-NMC registration: £25,900 (Band 5) – £31,360 (Band 6).
- Successful candidates will be employed as Band 3 with a pay rise opportunity (Band 5) upon passing OSCE, potentially as soon as 3 months.
