Job Description
UK Management College are looking for enthusiastic and confident individuals to join our team as Student Administrators.
Our business is growing rapidly and as such, we have a number of different roles to fulfil. As this is a role in which you will be dealing with students face to face, this is an office-based role in our campus based in Sunderland.
No two days will be the same at UKMC, it will be busy and it is very fast paced. Your role will be to assist with student applications and ensure they are processed accurately, fairly, efficiently and with optimum results through a very busy period.
Under the direction of the Administration Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing student applications and identification
- Liaising with colleagues and candidates, to co-ordinate interview schedules
- Maintain databases of student details and progression
- Participate in Admissions-related talks and events, as appropriate.
Student Administrator Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 years office based administration experience
- Proven administrative skills (well-organised, clear-thinking, proactive, and effective) obtained through demonstrable experience ideally within Higher Education
- Ability to multi-task, solve problems, and work calmly and logically to meet multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines
- Ability to work independently, practically, and resourcefully as a member of a the team
- Quick to learn new systems and processes, and to have the capacity to assimilate, understand, and retain complex information at speed, while maintaining accuracy
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to deal confidently, sensitively, and appropriately with a wide variety of people from varying backgrounds and ethnicities
- Ability to be tactful and discrete in dealing with confidential or sensitive matters
- Flexibility in their approach to work, with a co-operative attitude
You may also required to undertake student interviews that include:
- Ask questions and recording the interview with potential candidates
- Upload the necessary documents and interview on various system
- Coordinate the outcome of these interview effectively
