Through strong partnerships with universities and industry stakeholders, we strive to foster excellence in education and empower our communities to make meaningful contributions within their chosen fields. br /p p strong Job Purpose br /strong /p p The HR Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources and Recruitment teams across UK Management College and the wider Unibridge Group. br /p p The postholder will play a key role in supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee administration, and compliance activities. Responsibilities include coordinating recruitment processes, scheduling interviews, maintaining employee and candidate records, preparing onboarding documentation, supporting pre-employment checks, and ensuring a positive candidate and employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. br /p p This role requires a highly organised, proactive, and professional individual who can manage competing priorities, maintain confidentiality, and deliver a high standard of administrative support within a fast-paced environment. br /p p strong Key Responsibilities br /strong /p p strong Recruitment Administration /strong /p ul li Support end-to-end recruitment activities across multiple departments. /li li Monitor recruitment and HR inboxes and respond to candidate and employee enquiries in a timely manner. /li li Attend interviews to take notes, ensure compliance with UKMC policies and respond to basic HR questions. /li /ul p strong Onboarding Support /strong /p ul li Prepare contracts of employment, and onboarding documentation. /li li Coordinate new starter onboarding activities. /li li Ensure all employee records are completed and compliant before start dates. /li li Assist with induction scheduling and new employee orientation activities. /li /ul p strong HR Administration /strong /p ul li Support pre-employment checks, including references, right-to-work verification, and background screening where applicable. /li li Maintain confidentiality of employee and candidate information. /li li Support HR reporting and recruitment metrics. /li li Assist with general HR administration. /li li Ensure compliance with employment legislation, GDPR, and company policies. /li /ul p strong Compliance /strong /p ul li Assist with monitoring compliance with employment legislation and company policies. /li li Maintain confidentiality of employee information at all times. /li /ul p strong Skills and Experience br /strong /p p strong Essential /strong /p ul li Previous administrative experience, ideally within HR or recruitment. /li li Excellent organisational and time-management skills. /li li Strong attention to detail and accuracy. /li li Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams). /li li Strong written and verbal communication skills. /li li Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. /li li GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics. /li /ul p strong Desirable /strong /p ul li CIPD Level 3 qualification or working towards it. /li li Previous experience supporting recruitment or onboarding activities. /li li Knowledge of employment law and recruitment best practices. /li li CIPD qualification (desirable but not essential). /li /ul p strong Benefits /strong /p ul li 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays) /li li Pension Scheme /li li Professional development opportunities /li li Career progression opportunities within a growing higher education organisation /li li Supportive and collaborative working environment /li li Free onsite parking /li li Staff engagement, recognition, and wellbeing initiatives /li li Opportunity to develop a career within Human Resources /li /ul p strong How to Apply br /strong /p p If you are an organised and motivated individual looking to develop your HR career within a growing higher education organisation, we would love to hear from you. br /p p Apply today and become part of a dedicated Human Resources team, supporting the recruitment and development of talented individuals across UK Management College and the wider Unibridge Group. /p
