About The Role

This role reports into the Head of Marketing, the events manager is an integral part of the marketing team and will work across all campus events. This role will be responsible for planning and managing college events and discussing objectives with relevant departments and using expertise to make recommendations where appropriate. This role is located in our Manchester campus and will manage a small team across other campuses. Regular travel to our UK campuses and other locations will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Events Manager role will involve:
  • Planning and delivering campus events, corporate events, open days, awards nights, student recruitment & more.
  • Working with stakeholders to bring each event vision to life.
  • Handling post-event feedback to make the next one even better.
  • Acting as the primary contact with campus heads for assigned events and securing appropriate event space, marketing communications and materials
  • Internal communication to update the wider organisation on all event
  • Build and manage a strategic events calendar tied to business goals
  • Work closely with internal teams to coordinate and deliver event assets.
  • Managing end-to-end requirements for events as assigned, including identifying accommodations, transportation, location, catering, signage, displays, and any special needs requirements
  • Report on all aspects of the events

About You:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a events marketing role
  • You\’re a vibrant multi-tasker with proven events management experience, previous college role desirable but not essential
  • Solid experience in event planning, multitasking and stakeholder management.
  • A keen eye for detail and a creative flair for content and branding.
  • Excellent communication skills – written, visual, and verbal.
  • A proactive attitude and confidence to run with ideas.
  • Line management experience required
  • A great teammate that supports their colleagues and doesn’t act as an individual
