The HR Administrator / Support Administrator provides efficient, high-volume administrative support across both the HR and Recruitment functions. The role is critical in ensuring the smooth running of operational processes across the employee lifecycle while maintaining compliance and data integrity. This position has been created to alleviate administrative pressure across the Recruitment and HR teams. As hiring volumes and employee lifecycle activity increase, administrative tasks such as interview coordination, compliance checks, documentation and data management can become a bottleneck. This position will be to improve process efficiency, compliance and data accuracy, reducing operational risk and delays. Overall, the role acts as a central operational support function, ensuring HR and recruitment processes run efficiently and at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Lifecycle Administration
- Draft and issue contracts of employment, offer letters and contractual amendments
- Assist and coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain and update accurate employee records within HR systems
- Compliance & Right to Work
- Conduct right to work checks in line with UKVI requirements
- Ensure all documentation is compliant with UK employment legislation
- Support audit readiness and maintain organised, compliant personnel files
- Recruitment Support (as required)
- Post vacancies and support coordination with the Talent Acquisition team
- Schedule interviews and manage candidate communications
- Prepare offer packs and coordinate pre-employment checks (e.g. references, DBS where applicable)
- HR Systems & Reporting
- Update and maintain HR databases (EH)
- Produce employment-related letters upon request
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with GDPR requirements
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an HR Administration or Recruitment Administration role (Essential)
- Ability to manage high-volume administrative workloads with accuracy
- Knowledge of right to work requirements and HR compliance processes
- Experience using ATS systems, Employment Hero and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Effective communication and coordination abilities
Qualifications
- CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) desirable
