As part of our Commercial Mail team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering accurate reporting and insights that power operational performance and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

As a Data Analyst (Mail), you will be responsible for producing high-quality reports and data insights that support operational decision‑making and client reporting. You’ll work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure accurate forecasting, performance tracking, and service delivery metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce daily reports on collected volumes and service performance metrics
  • Monitor and report on key service level indicators and forecasting accuracy
  • Respond to client and internal queries within agreed service levels (SLA)
  • Compile monthly reports aligned to client specifications and financial data
  • Prepare quarterly reporting packs for client review presentations
  • Develop ad hoc and bespoke reports for stakeholders
  • Perform reconciliation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Support operational teams with handover and performance data reporting
  • Provide financial reporting insights based on data analysis
  • Support the Senior Mail Ops Team Leader with service level reporting

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum GCSEs in Maths and English
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple data sets and reporting requirements
  • Knowledge of DSA mail processes
  • Intermediate skill in MS Excel to include VBA / Power Pivot / Power Query
  • SQL Studio Manager to include running scripts and processes
