Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a small team of Grounds Maintenance Operatives
- Recruit, train, monitor performance and ensure quality delivery
- Plan and carry out planned maintenance and reactive work on multi‑site commercial properties (retail parks, supermarkets, offices, schools & colleges, parks and open spaces)
- Ensure customer service by interacting with clients to guarantee satisfaction
- Manage vehicle, equipment checks and maintain company van and iPad use
- Report and schedule maintenance activity, use hand‑held power tools such as petrol mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters, etc.
Qualifications
- Experience of managing a small team
- Commercial grounds maintenance or landscaping experience
- Proficient use of hand‑held power tools (petrol mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters)
- Valid driver’s licence
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently or within a small team
Company
UK Landscapes Ltd is a well‑established grounds maintenance organisation with a strong nationwide presence. The company offers training and development, rewards hard work and promotes a good working environment. Full PPE, tools and equipment are supplied. Permanent positions and other opportunities are available for the right candidates.
£30,000‑£40,000 + based on 48‑hour per week pay through an annualised hours programme. Overtime may be available at a premium rate but not guaranteed.
