Position: Team Leader & Grounds Maintenance Operative/s

We require Team Leaders & mobile Grounds Maintenance Operative/s within Cambridge and surrounding areas. This is a mobile role, and pick up/drop off can be arranged depending on your location.

Requirements:

  1. Experience of managing a small team
  2. Ability to work independently or within a small team
  3. Commercial grounds maintenance or landscaping experience
  4. Experience of using hand-held power tools, such as petrol mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters, etc.
  5. A valid driver’s license is essential

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Mobile round working on various multi-site commercial properties such as retail parks, supermarkets, offices, schools & colleges, parks, and open spaces
  2. Regular visits carrying out planned maintenance or reactive work on sites
  3. Working within a small team
  4. Customer service interaction is essential to ensure the client is satisfied with the work carried out

Company van and mobile iPad are provided. Vehicle checks are also part of the role.

About the Company:

A well-established grounds maintenance organisation with a strong nationwide presence in the UK, offering training and development while rewarding hard work. We promote a good working environment with strong core values. Full PPE, tools, and equipment are supplied.

Permanent positions and other opportunities are available for the right candidates.

Salary: £30k-£40k based on a 48-hour work week pay through an annualised hours programme. Overtime may be available at a premium rate but is not guaranteed.
