Role Overview
Team leader and mobile grounds maintenance operative positions for the start of the new season (March). The role is based in Edinburgh and surrounding areas, with a mobile work environment on multiple commercial sites such as retail parks, supermarkets, offices, schools & colleges, and public parks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a small team of grounds maintenance operatives.
- Lead mobile rounds across multiple sites, performing planned maintenance and reactive work.
- Ensure customer service interactions to maintain client satisfaction.
- Conduct vehicle and equipment checks.
- Work independently or within a small team to meet site requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience managing a small team.
- Commercial grounds maintenance or landscaping background.
- Proficiency with hand-held power tools (petrol mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters, etc.).
- Valid driver's licence.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
