We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a small office fit-out project in Birmingham, working on behalf of a specialist interior fit-out contractor. The contractor’s works cover solid and glazed partitions, ceilings, timber and glazed doors, prefabricated partitions, teapoints and decoration, with projects delivered across the office, retail, hospitality, education, leisure, healthcare and life sciences sectors.
This role will suit a Site Manager with a strong background in commercial interiors / office fit-out, ideally with experience managing partitioning, ceiling, door and finishing packages.
Role Duties- Managing a small office fit-out project from site set-up through to completion
- Coordinating trades and subcontractors across partitions, ceilings, doors, teapoints and decoration
- Overseeing installation of solid partitions, glazed partitions, timber/glazed door sets and associated internal fit-out works
- Monitoring programme progress and ensuring works are completed in line with project deadlines
- Managing health and safety on site, including inductions, RAMS, permits and daily site checks
- Liaising with the Project Manager, client representatives and subcontractors
- Ensuring quality control across all finishes, interfaces and handover areas
- Managing deliveries, materials, site logistics and access arrangements
- Keeping site records, progress updates and any required documentation
- Ensuring the site is clean, organised and compliant throughout the project
- Valid SMSTS
- Valid First Aid
- Previous experience as a Site Manager on office fit-out / commercial interiors projects
- Strong understanding of internal fit-out packages, especially partitions, ceilings, doors and decoration
- Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain programme
- Good communication skills and confidence liaising with Project Managers and clients
- Available for interview
- Available to attend site during week commencing 1st June to meet the Project Manager

- Hours: Standard 8-hour shifts
- Overtime: Anything over 8 hours payable
