We are recruiting for a Building Surveyor to work on a Permanent basis for a damp control/home ventilation services contractor based in Reading, Berkshire.
Role:
- Remedial Dampness, Timber & mould surveying of all types of residential properties for social housing, commercial and private clients. Reporting of the results of these surveys and specification and costing of any required remedial works.
- Writing reports is carried out using templates and works specifications. New report writing software with AI analysis is currently being introduced.
- Communication with clients regarding survey results and findings.
- Communication with site staff regarding questions or findings once works have begun to provide advice and information in depth.
- Coordination and collaboration with admin, sales and operational teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Attending client and business meetings on site, remotely or at client premises.
- Ability to write professional reports that are grammatically correct and technically accurate.
- Ability to organise your own schedule, manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Full UK driving licence.
- CSCS card a benefit.
- Health and Safety Qualifications a benefit β ie UKATA asbestos awareness, lone working etc.
