We are recruiting for a Driver/Yardperson to work for an Engineering company based in Wallingford, Oxfordshire.
The role:
- Report to Head office each day for detail of where equipment will need delivery to. Delivery location will be within a 3-4 hour distance.
- On days where there are no deliveries to be made you will be based at the storage yard of the head office performing Yard Person duties i.e. material storage, keeping yard tidy.
- On days where delivery is local you will be required to report back to the storage yard after delivery to perform Yard Person duties.
- Hours: 7am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.
- Deliveries will be made using a 7.5T flatbed Van which can be operated by anybody with a UK Driving license. Previous experience of driving 7.5t flatbed van would be beneficial.
- The position is offered on a temporary to permanent basis with a 14 week Temporary period initially in place.
