What You'll Bring
Minimum requirements:
- Full Class 2 (Category C) driving licence relevant to the role
- Good understanding of health and safety legislation and food safety standards
- Good geographical knowledge of UK road networks
- Experience carrying out vehicle safety checks and ensuring loads are secure
- Multi-drop delivery experience
- Experience working within a chilled food distribution environment
- Ability to handle heavy goods safely
- No more than six penalty points on your licence
- Experience building positive working relationships with customers, colleagues and managers
What You'll Be Doing
Day to day, you'll:
- Complete vehicle and safety checks before leaving site, ensuring your vehicle is roadworthy and ready for delivery
- Deliver products to stores safely, accurately and on schedule, helping stores serve customers without delay
- Check loads against delivery paperwork and ensure goods are loaded, secured and transported correctly
