The role emphasizes secure adoption of emerging technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence, while supporting national outcomes.

The role

  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of secure frameworks, tools, and architectures.
  • Support the development of NCSC guidance on the safe adoption of Gen AI.
  • Develop and broaden expertise as a security architect while contributing to AI and broader architectural initiatives.

About you / Qualifications

  • Experience designing and building systems or providing expert technical advice, with the ability to apply specialist security capabilities to real-world challenges.
  • Solid understanding of how vulnerabilities arise, how they are discovered, and how they may be exploited.
  • Experience developing or supporting systems using modern technologies, including cloud services and AI.
  • Broad technical background with deeper expertise in at least one area of personal interest.
