We are looking for 3 separate, senior level Business Development Directors to lead and grow major client accounts in the Transport (Road, Rail, Ports, and Airports), Power (Gas & Electricity utilities) and the Facilities Management, Defence & Construction markets. If you thrive on building strategic relationships, delivering commercial growth, and making a tangible impact, this is your opportunity to be part of something meaningful, which is growing fast.
What You Will Do:
- Lead key commercial relationships with national clients;
- Identify, initiate and grow relationships with relevant new clients;
- Secure and grow accounts by identifying new opportunities and expanding service lines;
- Achieve ambitious sales, gross margin, and EBITDA targets;
- Drive double-digit revenue growth through market expansion and strategic partnerships;
- Manage and inspire a small team supporting the respective sector’s commercial success;
- Collaborate with senior leaders across the business to shape and deliver growth strategies;
- Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and new business proposals;
- Represent our client with professional bodies and the wider industry to raise brand awareness.
What We are Looking For:
- Proven experience in B2B sales or account management, selling environmental and / or engineering services to national organisations in each respective industry;
- Strong background in leading commercial BD teams and delivering growth;
- Experience developing tailored solutions based on customer needs;
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills;
- Financially astute with an understanding of profit drivers;
- Strong organisational and project management abilities;
- Resilience, adaptability, and a passion for sustainability;
- Knowledge of environmental services, infrastructure, or engineering is a plus.
