Successful candidates will join Ignition, a high growth cybersecurity organisation and the performance engine behind next-generation security technologies. This role is part of Ignition, a company founded in 2015 and acquired by Exclusive Networks in 2021, focused on emerging, cloud and SaaS-based cybersecurity technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand and communicate the company’s technology product portfolio at a technical level to customers and partners.
- Demonstrate the company’s technology to customers and partners (face-to-face or via online meetings).
- Create and manage your own demo environment to showcase capabilities of the vendor portfolio.
- Assist with installing technologies in pre-production and production environments as required.
- Provide post-installation support and follow-up as needed.
- Regularly visit the main office in Farnborough; remote work is possible with time in the office expected weekly.
- Obtain and maintain appropriate vendor certifications and technical accreditations relevant to the role.
- Perform any ad hoc duties as defined by the line manager.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in a business environment; organized, structured, and detail-oriented.
- Flexibility and the ability to work in various environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Good team player who shares information and fosters a positive team environment.
- Ideally previous IT networking and security industry experience; strong interest in IT network and security technologies.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to pass the HM Government Baseline Personnel Security Standard (UK or EU national).
