We are recruiting Principal Technical Architects across four key Home Office digital portfolios: Migration and Borders Digital, Police and Public Protection Technology, Data Services and Analytics, and Automation and Innovation.
These roles require strong technical leadership, with the ability to operate across complex technology landscapes and drive the design and delivery of secure, scalable and user‑centred solutions.
You will work on systems of national importance, from border security and policing platforms to advanced data analytics and emerging technologies, supporting services that impact millions of people every day.
This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping enterprise architecture, influencing strategic direction, and delivering meaningful transformation across one of the UK’s largest and most critical government departments.
What you will do
- Own and deliver the overarching technical strategy, guiding architectural decisions that balance risk, complexity, and delivery timelines.
- Lead governance and assurance processes, ensuring solutions remain secure, robust, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to advocate for digital transformation initiatives, influencing decisions through clear, data‑driven insights.
