We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to oversee our three semi-independent living units supporting vulnerable young people aged 16–18 . The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality support, ensuring compliance, and leading a motivated staff team across multiple sites. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the service, maintaining standards in line with local authority requirements, and ensuring a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for young people preparing for independence. Key Responsibilities Provide strong leadership and management across three units in Harrow and Greenford. Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding, and support for young people aged 16–18. Oversee staffing, including recruitment, supervision, training, rotas, and performance management. Maintain compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual standards. Use CarePlace to manage records, referrals, care plans, incident reporting, and documentation accurately and efficiently. Conduct quality assurance checks and ensure all documentation meets local authority and organisational requirements. Build positive relationships with local authorities, social workers, external agencies, and families where appropriate. Promote independence-focused outcomes for young people and support their transitions into adulthood. Manage budgets, resources, and daily operational needs of the service. Drive improvements, support inspections, and lead the development of the service. Requirements Minimum Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (NVQ Level 5) or equivalent (required). At least 2 years of experience in managing or leading semi-independent or supported accommodation services. Strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessments, care planning, and working with young people leaving care. Ability to travel daily between units in Harrow and Greenford (essential). Proven experience managing staff teams and service operations. Proficient in using CarePlace for documentation and case management (essential). Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. A commitment to promoting the welfare and independence of young people.
