Editorial is at the heart of what we do, and we’re looking for a natural wordsmith with talent, enthusiasm, and editorial precision to join our creative team! Our editors appreciate what consumers want to say in their relationships, and they use our creative resources and specialist editorial database to source, edit and create meaningful words for our cards. Editors ensure that UKG products always meet constantly evolving communication needs and language changes by following demographic, social and cultural trends. They do this through research and collaboration on Consumer Insight projects.
The ideal person should have an English degree or equivalent experience, along with creative and versatile writing skills to maintain our brand voices and keep them relevant to the consumer. Experience within the greeting card industry isn’t essential but is advantageous. If you enjoy being at the heart of creating greetings that let people send hugs, smiles and wonderful wishes to those they care about, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities- Source, edit and create meaningful words for our cards, ensuring brand voice and relevance to consumers.
- Stay up to date with evolving communication needs and language trends by monitoring demographic, social and cultural developments.
- Conduct research and collaborate on Consumer Insight projects to support editorial decisions.
