The Role
We're growing a brand new data and analytics team, including leading AI work across the globe.
We are looking for a strong, smart, innovative data and analytics and AI leader to focus primarily on People & Culture.
Someone who loves working with data and AI to answer hard questions about people and organisations.

You'll own the delivery of P&C data, reporting, analytics and AI products at RES - turning complex global workforce data into trusted, governed insight consumed by P&C leaders, the Executive Committee, and the Board.
This is a hands-on analytical role.
You'll build dimensional data models, write Python and SQL, apply LLMs and machine learning to workforce questions, and deliver automation that reduces manual effort across P&C.
You'll work with a modern Azure Fabric platform, focusing your energy on working with stakeholders to define and prioritise use cases and business requirements, then deliver quality data, reports, modelling and analytics.
You will handle sensitive employee data, implementing privacy controls, and ensuring the data is used ethically.
What You'll Do
- Deliver workforce data and analytics i. e. headcount, attrition, absence, recruitment, diversity, and workforce planning - defining, validating, and owning metrics.
- Use Microsoft Azure/Fabric to clean, model, and analyse workforce data and deliver self-service data, reporting and analytics.
- Developing governed dimensional and semantic data models for consumption through business intelligence, excel, AI or other tools.
- Apply data classification, access controls, and privacy standards to P&C analytical outputs.
- Apply AI to P&C use cases: i. e. attrition prediction, workforce segmentation, flight risk modelling, and talent insights.
- Use LLMs and generative AI to build analytical tools and AI-assisted insight - designing prompts and ensuring outputs are accurate, fair, and explainable.
Validate all AI-generated outputs for accuracy, bias, and sensitivity.
- Build automation workflows using tools such as Power Platform, Power Automate, and Dataverse - or equivalent - to reduce manual effort across P&C processes.
- Lead business requirements, use case development, UAT and business validation for P&C data, reporting and analytics outputs and AI products.
- Support P&C stakeholders in moving from manual reporting to governed, AI-enabled analytics - translating technical outputs into clear business insight.
- Support and lead other work outside of P&C as required and agreed by the Head of Department.
- What You'll Bring
- Dimensional Data Modelling, Python and SQL - comfortable using both for data analysis, modelling, and automation.
- Visualisation - ability to design clear, executive-ready data models and visualisations outputs using Microsoft Azure/Fabric, modelling tools.
- Workforce analytics - understanding of core P&C metrics and how to interpret people data.
- Generative AI and LLMs - prompt engineering, applied use of LLM tools, and an understanding of responsible AI in a sensitive data context.
- Automation tooling - knowledge and experience with platforms such as Power Platform, Power Automate, or Dataverse to reduce manual effort across business processes.
- Responsible Data and AI - experience applying fairness, explainability, and privacy principles in an analytical context.
- Stakeholders - extensive experience leading business stakeholders and driving requirements and use cases. leading workshops with senior executives and presenting at forums.
Able to translate technical findings into plain language for non-technical audiences, plus negotiate and influence and prioritise work, then jointly deliver quality products and translate analytical outputs into decisions.
Your Background
Essential
- Degree in data science or data analytics, or a related field.
- Proven analytical experience delivering actionable reporting, modelling, quality data and insight from complex datasets with measurable business impact.
- Extensive experience building dimensional and semantic data models in Microsoft Azure/Fabric.
- Practical Python, semantic data modelling and SQL skills used in an analytical context.
- Experience building products using Microsoft Azure/Fabric from business requirements to modelling, data quality improvements, data standardisation and reporting/consumption for AI.
- Experience with automation/analytics tooling - Power BI, Power Platform, Power Automate.
- Experience applying AI/ML models and/or generative AI tools to real business problems.
- Solid understanding and knowledge of data privacy, sensitivity, and responsible AI principles.
- Experience working with and leading executive business stakeholders to define requirements, negotiate and influence and prioritise work, then jointly deliver quality products and translate analytical outputs into decisions.
Desirable
- Experience with HR or workforce platforms such as Workday, SAP Success Factors, or equivalent
- Relevant certifications in AI/ML, Power BI, Microsoft Azure, or data privacy
