We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Supervisor to join our team at HMP Swaleside, a CATEGORY B & Male prison. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading experienced and passionate colleagues from various trades (Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, Administrators, etc.) to maintain a safe and secure environment. You will help ensure the smooth and safe operation of the prison’s facilities, working closely with other maintenance teams to meet operational objectives.

A minimum of five years’ experience, ideally within an FM environment and/or secure environment, military, health or similar sectors. Experience working on commercial or industrial heating, water or building service systems. Familiar with, and ability to, work to Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements. Good Health & Safety knowledge. Excellent organisational, time management and people skills. A rounded knowledge of risk and compliance and demonstrable planning & project management skills.
