Contract: Permanent - Full Time Monday-Friday - 39 hours

We are seeking a dedicated Plumber (Level 2) to join our team at HMP Grendon Springhill. HMP Grendon is a Category B training prison, while HMP Springhill is a Category D open prison, and they are jointly managed and maintained by the same facilities team.

As a Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level 2), you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all.

We are looking for a Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level 2) with:

  • NVQ Level 2 certificate in a mechanical or plumbing discipline or equivalent
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Excellent organisational, time management and people skills

Future Plans. GFSL has been notified by its shareholder (MOJ) that the provision of FM Services will in future be delivered by the private sector.
