You’ll develop and commission content for internal and external audiences, using analytics to inform your approach.

Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll translate complex policy and industry topics into accessible, compelling stories - often at pace.

You’ll lead our social media approach; setting direction, planning content, and ensuring we use each channel appropriately, confidently and creatively for our audiences.

The role is hybrid with 2 days in our London office each week.

  • Own and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely, coordinated messaging across Corporate Affairs and the wider organisation.
  • Provide internal communications and social media advice to colleagues across UK Finance, helping teams plan content and deliver strong outcomes.
  • Manage reactive news content for social and internal channels, spotting opportunities to increase reach and engagement.
  • Develop content to support the Chief Executive’s communications, including internal updates to colleagues, our internal Town Hall meetings and Linked In activity.
  • Monitor performance and evaluate the effectiveness of channels and content, using insight to refine our approach.

Skills and Competencies

  • Experience in managing a corporate Linked In account, using channel and third-party analytics to influence strategy.
  • Proven experience planning and delivering effective, engaging communications across multiple channels.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with an eye for tone of voice and detail.
  • Strong stakeholder skills, with experience advising colleagues and briefing senior leaders.
  • Hands‑on experience publishing content to social media platforms and updating digital channels.
  • Proven ability to plan, manage and deliver projects to deadlines, balancing multiple priorities.
  • Creative thinker who can turn ideas into practical, high-quality content that drives engagement.
