The Manager, Governance will provide proactive corporate governance services and secretariat support to the UK Finance\โs Board, Audit and Risk Committee, Executive Committee and other governance committees as required.
The Manager, Governance will provide proactive corporate governance services and secretariat support to the UK Finance\โs Board, Audit and Risk Committee, Executive Committee and other governance committees as required. They will support the Head of Governance to deliver high quality board governance and coordinate board evaluations to promote continuous improvement of governance services.
Some Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Head of Governance with all secretariat duties for Board, Board Committees the Executive Committee and other committees as required (\โcorporate governance committees\โ) to deliver effective and professional governance meetings.
- Developing meeting schedules, work plans and drafting agendas for corporate governance committees that reflect business priorities and requirements.
- Coordinating the preparation of papers for corporate governance committees and supporting colleagues (including by providing guidance) to produce high quality papers.
- Managing the organisation of corporate governance meetings, including working with the board secretariat assistant on scheduling, attendance and logistics.
- Maintaining meeting records for corporate governance committees including minutes, actions logs and minutes books and facilitating the communication between corporate governance committees and colleagues across the business to ensure actions and decisions are implemented.
